Code of ConductUpdated 9 days ago
All vendors, and everyone acting on a vendor's behalf, are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct when selling with Amplife®. This Code of Conduct is a Program Policy incorporated into the Amplife® Vendor Participation Agreement and applies alongside the Sell with Amplife® Service Terms. Vendor offenses and prohibited content can result in actions against your listings and your Amplife® account.
This policy requires that vendors act fairly and honestly on Amplife® to ensure a safe buying and selling experience. All vendors must:
Treat everybody with respect, including when communicating with Amplife® and in customer support requests;
Provide accurate information to Amplife® and our customers at all times;
Act fairly and lawfully and not misuse our features or services;
Not attempt to damage or abuse another vendor, their listings or ratings;
Not attempt to influence customers' ratings, feedback, and reviews, except neutral review requests as permitted by the Amplife® Customer Reviews Policy;
Not send unsolicited or inappropriate communications;
Not contact customers who have placed an order on Amplife® except to fulfill the order and answer their customer service questions;
Not attempt to circumvent the Amplife® sales process, except as the Showcase permission in this policy provides;
Not operate more than one vendor account on Amplife® without a legitimate business need; and
Not engage in conduct that violates antitrust or price fixing laws, including agreeing with competitors on prices.
Violating the Code of Conduct or any other Program Policies may result in actions against your account, such as cancellation or suppression of listings, withholding of payments as described in the Amplife® Funds Withholding Policy, and suspension and/or termination of your Amplife® account as provided in the Vendor Participation Agreement.
Accurate Information
You must provide accurate information to Amplife® and our customers, and update the information if it changes. For example, this means that you must use a business name that accurately identifies your business, place your listings in the correct category, and keep your Listing Type certifications truthful and current as described in the Listing Guidelines.
Acting Fairly
You must act fairly and lawfully and may not misuse any service provided by Amplife®. Examples of unfair activities include:
Providing misleading or inappropriate information to Amplife® or our customers, such as by creating multiple listings for the same listing or posting offensive listing images;
Attempting to increase the price of a listing after an order is confirmed;
Artificially inflating web traffic (using bots or paying for clicks);
Attempting to influence search results by inflating search ranking through keyword manipulation or incentivizing customers' searches to appear as organic behavior;
Attempting to damage another vendor, their listings or ratings; and
Allowing other people to act on your behalf in a way that violates our policies or your agreement with Amplife®.
Ratings, Feedback, and Reviews
You may not attempt to influence or inflate customers' ratings, feedback, and reviews. You may request feedback and reviews from customers that ordered your listing in a neutral manner, but may not:
Pay for or offer an incentive (such as coupons or free listings) in exchange for providing or removing feedback or reviews;
Ask customers to write only positive reviews or ask them to remove or change a review;
Solicit reviews only from customers who had a positive experience;
Review your own listings or competitors' listings; or
Have your employees, family members, or agents do any of the above on your behalf.
The Amplife® Customer Reviews Policy contains the complete rules for reviews and testimonials and controls if there is any conflict with this section.
Communications
You may not send unsolicited or inappropriate messages. All communications to customers must be necessary for fulfilling the order or answering customer support requests. Marketing communications are prohibited.
Customer Information
If you receive customer information such as names, emails, addresses, or phone numbers in connection with orders, you may use that information only to fulfill those orders and answer the customer service questions they generate. You must keep customer information confidential at all times, and only parties that fulfill the order can access it. You may not use customer information to solicit customers, build marketing or advertising audiences, or divert transactions away from Amplife®, and you may not share it with any third party except carriers and service providers who need it to fulfill the order. These duties apply alongside the customer data protections in the Vendor Participation Agreement and the Sell with Amplife® Service Terms, which control if there is any conflict.
Circumventing the Sales Process
You may not attempt to circumvent the Amplife® sales process or divert Amplife® customers to another website. This means that you may not provide links, messages, or materials that prompt customers to visit any external website or complete elsewhere a transaction that began on Amplife®.
The one exception is built into the Showcase Selling Plan. Showcase Listings complete their transactions off all Amplife® Sites by design: a vendor with an active Showcase Selling Plan subscription may link customers from its Showcase Listings to its designated sales channel to complete those transactions, as provided in the Sell with Amplife® Service Terms. This permission covers only your own Showcase Listings and only while your subscription is active. It is not permission to divert customers away from other vendors' listings, away from your own Standard Plan listings, or away from Amplife® generally, and it ends when your Showcase subscription ends.
Multiple Selling Accounts on Amplife®
You may only maintain one vendor account unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and your account is in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.
An example of a legitimate business justification is if you own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each.
Listing Quality and Performance
All vendors must maintain high-quality listings, content, and experiences: accurate listings that meet the Listing Guidelines, orders fulfilled as promised, and timely responses to customer service requests. Indications that you are not maintaining high-quality listings and experiences include excessive negative customer reviews, excessive refund or return requests, and repeated failures to fulfill orders on time.
Amplife® may publish specific vendor performance standards in the Program Policies. If and as published, those standards apply to your participation from their stated effective date, following the notice provisions of the Vendor Participation Agreement.
Policy Violations
Failure to adhere can result in cancellation or suppression of listings, withholding of payments as described in the Amplife® Funds Withholding Policy (which includes your right to appeal), and suspension and/or termination of your Amplife® account as provided in the Vendor Participation Agreement. All vendors are responsible for understanding and complying with all Program Policies.
