Creating listings is one of the most important aspects of the Vendor Portal and being an Amplife&#xAE; Vendor. Every element of your listing can help customers purchase it. Learn how to help customers discover your listing throughout amplife.co, from search results to collection pages. You can create and manage your listings in the Vendor Portal, sync with your e-commerce platform, or integrate with the Amplife&#xAE; API.<h2 dir="ltr" id="what-can-be-listed">What can be listed</h2>Products, services, and events are allowed to be listed.A listing is anything offered through Amplife&#xAE;. It&#x2019;s made up of details such as the&#xA0;<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/create-listings-553287#title">Title</a>,&#xA0;<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/create-listings-553287#price">Price</a>, and&#xA0;<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/create-listings-553287#description">Description</a>. All listings must comply with all laws and regulations, as well as&#xA0;<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/articles/program-policies-140786" style="text-decoration:none;">Program Policies</a>.Only the original manufacturer/producer/service provider can be vendors and create listings. Choose a simple, yet descriptive Title that is easy to spell. Be distinctive by including your brand and identifying information such as &#x201C;Wheelchair&#x201D; or &#x201C;T-Shirt&#x201D;. A Title can be up to 90 characters long, but we recommend a maximum of 70 characters.<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/listing-guidelines-539771#title">Learn more about Title requirements</a>.<h2 id="variations">Variations</h2>Your Variations are sets of listings that are related to one another, allowing buyers to compare and choose listings based on different attributes such as size, color, or other characteristics from the available options on a single listing detail page. Each variation has its own Price and inventory/stock information, such as Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), the unique identifier that defines your listing. Create Media that helps customers learn about your listing.<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/listing-guidelines-539771#media">Learn more about Media requirements</a>.<h2 dir="ltr" id="price">Price</h2>Your Price is one of the most important elements of your listing as it not only positions your listing to customers&apos; perceived value, but it&apos;s also a comparison factor between competing listings and a major factor for customers deciding to purchase your listing. Your Compare Price is the discounted Price from the original Price. The first sentence of your Description is the most important because it displays on collection pages when a customer chooses the list format. Explain your listing&#x2019;s details with the Description rather than with the title. Highlight the key features or how your listing is unique. It&#x2019;s also used in our search and filtering options to help customers find certain listings.&#xA0;Be sure to select only the Listing Type(s) that represents your listing. We may request additional information to determine if your listing is a specific Listing Type. It&#x2019;s used in our search and filtering options to help customers find listings that fit their needs. Your listing&#x2019;s Classification also determines the available Department, Categories, Subcategories, and Group that can be assigned. After selecting a Classification, the corresponding Department displays, which displays the corresponding Categories, Subcategories and Group. After selecting your Group, that Group&#x2019;s Specification fields are displayed.Your listing&apos;s Taxonomy is critical to helping customers find your listing. Be sure to select the most relevant Taxonomy for your listing. Choosing irrelevant Taxonomy for your listing will cause your listing to be rejected when submitted for approval.<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/listing-guidelines-539771#taxonomy">Learn more about Taxonomy requirements</a>.<h2 dir="ltr" id="specifications">Specifications</h2>Specifications are the precise details that make up your listing, such as dimensions and weight. Every Group has unique Specifications. Your listing&#x2019;s Specifications are displayed on the listing detail page. It&#x2019;s also used in our search and filtering options to help customers find listings with specific details. If this information is missing or incorrect, customers will have a difficult time finding, comparing, and purchasing your listings. Enter Specifications as detailed and thoroughly as possible.<a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/listing-guidelines-539771#specifications">Learn more about Specification requirements</a>.<h2 dir="ltr" id="certifications--warnings">Certifications &amp; Warnings</h2>Some listings are required to display Certifications &amp; Warnings, such as if you claim your listing is produced in factories that are OEKO-Tex Standard 100 Certified or if it requires a warning mandated by California&#x2019;s Proposition 65. Be sure to only display certifications and add warnings that apply to your listing. We may request additional information to determine if your listing meets the certification&apos;s requirements or if all the required warnings are disclosed. Set your shipping method to help customers complete their transactions without surprising them with the shipping cost. Ideally, offering customers free shipping allows them to make a complete buying decision without worrying about additional costs. Be sure to set your shipping method&#x2019;s cost or price your listing to not lose profit when purchasing shipping labels.&#xA0;All Standard Listings are subject to the <a href="https://www.amplife.co/policies/refund-policy">Amplife&#xAE; Return Policy</a>. How to add & update a listing, such as duplicating, editing, and deleting a listing.

You can add listings or update information about listings such as their Price, Variants, and Description from the Listings page in your Vendor Portal.<h2 id="add-new-listing">Add new listing</h2>Steps:Important: Once beginning to add a listing, it cannot be saved as a draft. It can either be discarded or sent for approval. You can contact us to resolve the issues before resubmitting the listing.</li></ul>Price and stock updates are essential. Any price or stock update submitted will automatically be approved and updated.<h2 id="duplicate-a-listing">Duplicate a listing</h2>To save time when you add a new listing, you can duplicate a similar listing. If you want to add options to an existing listing, such as color or size, then <a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/create-listings-553287#variations">add a Variant</a> to the listing instead of duplicating the listing.When you choose to duplicate an existing listing, you have the option to select which other listing details to duplicate from a specific set of options.All other listing details except 3D models and videos are automatically copied from the original to the duplicate.&#xA0;Steps:<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">From your Vendor Portal, go to Listings.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click the name of the listing that you want to duplicate.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click Duplicate.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Enter a different title for the duplicate listing.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Select which listing details to change from the original listing.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click Send for approval.</li></ol><h2 id="edit-a-listing">Edit a listing</h2>After you&apos;ve submitted listings, you can edit them to change their Descriptions, Media, and any other listing details.Although you can change your listing details at any time, each change after being approved will require reapproval of the listing.Saved changes take effect immediately once reapproved.Steps:<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">From your Vendor Portal, go to Listings.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click the name of the listing that you want to edit.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Modify the listing details.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click Send for approval.</li></ol><h2 id="delete-a-listing">Delete a listing</h2>Important:&#xA0;When you delete a listing, it&apos;s permanently removed from Amplife&#xAE;. Deleted listings can&apos;t be restored. If you run out of stock or no longer want to display a listing for any reason, but don&#x2019;t want to permanently delete it, then you can archive the listing instead by <a href="mailto:vendor@amplife.co">contacting us</a>.&#xA0;Steps:<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">From your Vendor Portal, go to Listings.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click the name of the listing or check the box on a listing that you want to delete.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click Unapprove listing&#xA0;and Click again to confirm.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">From your Vendor Portal, go to Pending.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click the name of the listing or check the box on a listing that you want to delete.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Click Remove submission&#xA0;and Click again to confirm.</li></ol><h2 id="add-a-listing-with-shopify">Add a listing with Shopify</h2>Steps:For vendors handling their listings and orders on <a href="https://www.shopify.com/">Shopify</a>, you can have real-time integration with Amplife&#xAE;.If you use fulfillment or listing management apps, our partner app integrates with those apps.You can synchronize seamlessly with Amplife&#xAE;:<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Orders: When Amplife&#xAE; receives an order, it is forwarded to your Shopify admin.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Listings: When you update a listing, it is reflected on Shopify and, if approved, on Amplife&#xAE;.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Tracking: When you fulfill an order from your Shopify admin, Amplife&#xAE; receives the tracking.</li></ul>Steps:<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">Install our partner app, <a href="https://apps.shopify.com/garnet-seller">Garnet</a>.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Once installed, you will have access to a simplified Vendor Portal interface from your Shopify admin.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Paste the integration key and click Connect.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Select the listings to sync with Amplife&#xAE; by clicking Manage availability.<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">You can access the listings available on the marketplace following Shopify &gt; Sales channels &gt; Garnet Seller &gt; Manage availability</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Alternatively, you can publish individual listings on Amplife&#xAE; by clicking Publishing &gt; Sales channel &gt; Garnet Seller</li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Access all of your live listings with your vendor page by clicking&#xA0;live approved listings.</li></ol><h3 id="price-and-compare-price-transformation">Price and Compare Price transformation</h3>You can change the Price and Compare Price of a listing before it is sent to Amplife&#xAE;. The Price transformation can either be an addition, a multiplication, or a combination of both.Example 1: You want to add a $4 flat fee for Amplife&#xAE;. A listing is for sale at $20 and there is a flat $4 increment, the Price on Amplife&#xAE; will be $24.Example 2: You want to discount all your listings by 20%. A listing is for sale at $20 and there is a percent multiplication increment of 0.8 (100% - 20% = 80%), the Price on Amplife&#xAE; will be&#xA0;$16.The following formula is used to compute the Price:Amplife&#xAE; Price = flat + original Price x percentOnce changed, it can take up to 10 minutes to update all Prices.<h3 id="manage-different-currencies">Manage different currencies</h3>By default, Amplife&#xAE; doesn&apos;t convert Prices from your currency to our standard currency, USD. However, you can set a percentage Price change to use a fixed currency.For instance, if your listings are priced in EUR and the current exchange rate is 1 EUR = 1.078 USD, you can use a percentage change of 107.80.Amplife&#xAE; always stores the currency in USD. If you want to change the displayed currency, you can change the displayed currency&#xA0;in Settings in your Vendor Portal.<h3 id="untracked-inventory">Untracked inventory</h3>If you do not track the inventory of a listing, it will be marked as untracked inventory on Amplife&#xAE; and your Vendor Portal.<h3 id="description-privacy">Description privacy</h3>For privacy reasons, all &lt;scripts&gt; and &lt;iframe&gt; tags are removed from the Description.<h3 id="updates-and-approval">Updates and approval</h3>Only Price/stock updates will be propagated automatically.When another visible field is edited, such as the Title or Media, Amplife&#xAE; will generate a new submission that needs to be <a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/add-and-update-listings-566419#listing-review">reviewed and approved</a>.<h3 id="listing-deletion">Listing deletion</h3>When a listing is deleted or removed from the Garnet sales channel in your Shopify admin, the linked listing is also deleted on Amplife&#xAE; both as a submission and as a listing.<h3 id="order-synchronizing">Order synchronizing</h3>When an <a href="https://help.amplife.co/en-US/manage-orders-526432">order&#xA0;</a>is placed on Amplife&#xAE;, you will receive a new order in real-time synchronized with Amplife&#xAE; on your Shopify admin.Only new orders are synchronized. Amplife&#xAE; does not have access to your past orders.<h3 id="stock-decrement">Stock decrement</h3>When an order is placed on Amplife&#xAE; or your website on Shopify, the listing&apos;s stock will be decremented in real time.If Amplife&#xAE; sells a listing not synchronized (i.e. a listing created outside of Amplife&#xAE;), an order will be created on your admin in Shopify but the stock will not be decremented within Amplife&#xAE;.<h3 id="data-imported">Data imported</h3>Once an order is placed on Amplife&#xAE;, it is synced with your Shopify admin. The order contains:<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Listings sold with quantity</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Listing attributes (if any)</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Customer name, company, delivery address, and billing address</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Order attributes (if any)</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Order notes</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Amplife&#xAE; URL in the order&apos;s note to reference the order to Amplife&#xAE;</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">The tags Your Amplife&#xAE; Order&#xA0;and Your Amplife&#xAE; Order #AL112 so you can filter, find and export orders related to Amplife&#xAE;</li></ul>Whenever an order is forwarded from Amplife&#xAE; to you, it can be fulfilled from your Shopify admin. The following fulfillment details are forwarded back to Amplife&#xAE;:<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Tracking company</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Tracking number</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Tracking URL</li></ul>Note:&#xA0;The customer&apos;s email address is obfuscated. It prevents your mailing automation from sending unwanted emails that will confuse the customer. Instead, we use placeholder emails such as order+112@no-reply.com or obfuscated@no-reply.com.
